Dr Katherine McCullough is a consultant in bariatric medicine, diabetes and endocrinology. She was recently appointed as the obesity special advisor for the Royal College of Physicians and continues to be the lead investigator for various clinical trials.

Your initial appointment will be with Dr McCullough in which she will discuss the different treatment options available to you and make a personalised plan depending on your medical conditions. Dr McCullough will advise you on any changes to your medications throughout your treatment pathway.

Our Consultant Surgeons work together on a daily basis to run one of the leading Oesophago-Gastric surgical centres in the UK. They are experts in their field and recognised internationally. They have developed extensive experience in advanced operating techniques and minimal access surgery, so you will always be in the safest hands. Our surgeons also provide a 24-hour on-call service in case you need emergency care after your operation. Quality of life is at the forefront of their actions, therefore, their treatment is focused on being personalised and holistic. You will be referred to one of the surgeons following your initial appointment with Dr McCullough. You will meet your surgeon to discuss the surgical options, risks, outcomes and answer any questions you may have before the operation.

Leilah and Holly are Specialist Upper GI dietitians working in one of the UK’s leading oesophageal and gastric units. They partner with HealthyMe to offer specialist premium aftercare for those undergoing weight loss surgery, support for those using weight loss injections, and personalised weight management plans. 

Our team of dedicated specialist dietitians are integral to your success and here at HealthyMe we pride ourselves on providing you with access to the highest quality specialist support. Your specialist dietitian will be there to support you from the moment you choose to have surgery, right through to the years after. Weight loss surgery is simply a tool to promote weight loss, but our dietitians will provide you with the foundations and structure to change your life for the better in every aspect. The ongoing support that you receive from your dietetic team will be the difference between another failed weight loss venture and reaching your target of a healthier, happier you.

Dr Esme Banting and Dr Lucy Tweedlie are Clinical Psychologists working in partnership with HealthyMe. Both Esme and Lucy are lead Clinical Psychologists for NHS Weight Management and Bariatric Surgery Services in their respective areas. 

At HealthyMe we believe helping people understand the psychology behind their relationship with food and eating is key to unlocking lasting behaviour change. Our Clinical Psychologists are on hand to help you do this.

We aim to offer a safe space to explore the different treatment options and work through your thoughts in a non-judgmental and non-biased space.

How to find us

Guildford Nuffield Health Hospital is located close to the Royal Surrey County Hospital, on the Surrey Research Park. It is easily accessible by road from the A3, M25 and M3.

Directions by road:
From the A3 Northbound, leave the A3 at the Royal Surrey/Research Park/Park Barn/Onslow Village/University/Cathedral exit. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Egerton Road. At the traffic lights, go straight over, staying on Egerton Road and driving past the Royal Surrey County Hospital. At the next roundabout, take the third exit onto Occam Road. After 100 metres, turn right onto Stirling Road. The Guildford Nuffield Hospital is on the left hand side.

From the A3 Southbound, leave the A3 at the Onslow Village/Guildford Centre exit. At Cathedral Roundabout, take the third exit onto Egerton Road. At the next roundabout, stay on Egerton Road. At the traffic lights, go straight over, staying on Egerton Road and driving past the Royal Surrey County Hospital. At the next roundabout, take the third exit onto Occam Road. Atter 100 metres, turn right onto Stirling Road. The Guildford Nuffield Hospital is on the left hand side.
